Flagship Store Associate Part-Time (Holiday Season)

Flagship Store Associate Part-Time
We are looking to add a part-time associate in our Flagship store! As part of the ABLE team, you will support store leadership by helping to cultivate a store environment that consistently delivers the best in customer experience.
We are looking for candidates with retail experience, preferably at specialty retail locations or high-end brands. We envision someone with a vibrant personality, an efficient nature, and natural warmth, someone who represents ABLE well and delights in sharing about our brand. Our ideal candidate will provide exceptional service in all aspects of the sales floor: greeting customers, selling, sharing product and brand knowledge, styling, checking out customers, restocking and shopkeeping.
12-15 hours a week; Required weekend availability Saturdays/Sundays, opportunity for additional hours during weekdays, and must have some holiday availability.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:
Customer Experience:
- Supports a luxury brand experience by offering individualized, genuine, customer connection, making interactions feel comfortable and exciting.
- Acts as an empowered team member, exercising decision-making skills to enhance each customer’s experience.
- Demonstrates extraordinary customer service in-store and abides by and exercises our policy that we are not 100% satisfied until our customer is.
- Takes ownership of personal awareness of product knowledge and current trends as well as utilizing knowledge to offer styling assistance and suggestions to customers.
- Able to assist in managing inventory, both accurately and efficiently.
Brand Aesthetic, Values and Mission
- Is knowledgeable of ABLE brand history and story, able to effectively communicate. Each customer coming into the ABLE Flagship should know more about ABLE when they leave than when they entered the store.
- Incorporates ABLE core values into every customer interaction.
- Is knowledgeable of product categories and how they fit, wear, and each country of origin as well as brand partners.
Requirements:
- Previous retail/customer service experience, 1 - 2 years or more
- Positive, outgoing attitude; willingness to go above and beyond

- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Adhere to standard opening and closing procedures, including preparing the store to optimal visual merchandising standards, maintaining store cleanliness, and securing the store for closing.

ABLE is growing our Buying and Planning team, and we are searching for a Planner to collaborate in managing the planning process to help grow category sales.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 3 year experience in Buying, Planning, and/or Distribution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven background in applying and analyzing the statistical components of the business (IMU%, MD%, GM%, sell-through, WOS, etc.)
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record in data-driven decision-making and problem-solving skills

Footwear and Leather Accessories Designer

Footwear and Leather Accessories Designer
ABLE is looking for a Footwear and Leather Accessories Designer whose industry expertise and strong communication will move the company forward in achieving our goals. The Footwear and Leather Accessories Designer will report to the Design Director.
Day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Adapts market research, trend intel and brand sales to specific designs seasonally with ABLE customer in mind
- In partnership with Design Director, makes decisions on colors and materials
- Daily communication with overseas partners in partnership with sourcing team
- Spec development and management, detailing concept, materials, and specifications based on brand design guidelines
- Develop and create illustrations and technical drawings for new designs in Photoshop and Illustrator
- Manage and drive development from initial concept to production adhering to calendar deadlines and key milestones
- Review prototypes in a timely manner, lead in house footwear fittings, and update tech packs to reflect modifications directly to factory
- Collaborate with the sourcing team to design products within specific pricing and margin goals
- Prepare and present design projects to planning and cross functional teams
- Source innovative and new materials based on seasonal direction and company goals
- Understand and utilize sales performance to design for ABLE customers
- International travel and trade show attendance may be required
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Focus and commitment to designing customer driven product
- Knowledge and in depth understanding of footwear construction and technical design skills including fit
- Collaborative partner and team player
- Must exhibit strong communication skills and flexibility in fast paced environment
- Strong organizational, time management skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite; Illustrator and Photoshop
- Ability to sketch, CAD and understand foundational design elements
- Strong understanding of costing and production process and lead times
- High level of organizational skills, including detail orientation and throughout follow up
- Proven ability to bring product to market in a timely cost effective manner
- Creative, innovative problem solver with the ability to anticipate potential issues
- Experience with PLM system preferred
Experience:
- 5 years related footwear design experience.
- Experience creating technical drawings, tech-packs, CADS
- Leather accessories design a plus
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in footwear design, fashion or industrial design in order of preference

- Assemble/create various types & styles of jewelry following a production schedule with daily goal setting
- Effectively communicate any questions/concerns during training & production process to assure quality control rates are at a minimum
- Understanding of inventory levels (both materials & final product)
- Ensure jewelry materials (wire, stones, clasps, etc.) and tools are properly maintained & cared for
Required Skills & Experience:
- Willingness to learn new skills
