Business Analyst
Business Analyst
The Business Analyst will support our planning team through strategic and ad hoc analyses to provide insights to make data-driven decisions. This is a full time role for a highly analytical, organized individual interested in the retail space and who can thrive in a fast-paced work environment. They will play a crucial role in driving sales through strategic assortment and inventory planning. The Business Analyst will report directly to the Senior Merchandise Planner.
This role is based in Nashville and offers a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Analyze business performance in sales, margin, inventory turn, marketing initiatives and make recommendations based on your analysis
- Will work within planning team, collaborating with cross-functional teams including wholesale product development, marketing, and design
- Analyze product performance and leverage analysis to drive seasonal buys
- Run daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and assist in building out new tools
- Assist planners in SKU creation, PO writing, shipment tracking, etc.
- Other duties may be assigned
Experience
- 4+ year college degree in related field
- 2+ years experience in an analytical role

Merchandise Planner
This role will join ABLE's planning team, owning planning functions for one or more departments across online, wholesale, and brick and mortar channels. The planner will develop seasonal department, class and item-level sales and inventory plans and analyze performance both in-season and post-season to drive sales and margin growth in their departments. The merchandise planner also manages inventory buys to achieve budgeted turns. A strong merchandise planner is highly analytical and has strong Excel skills. They will report to the VP of Planning and Operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Forecast sales, margin, and inventory at department, class, and SKU-level for assigned department(s)
- Analyze the business on an on-going basis to understand sales drivers and misses, especially through hindsight on a quarterly basis
- Manage inventory including buying and monitoring replenishment needs and sell-through
- Partner with design and marketing to build seasonal assortment strategy to drive sales performance
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, design, and sourcing teams
- Manage pricing and markdowns
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support cross-functional teams and make strategic recommendations
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2-3 years experience in retail, preferably in planning, buying, inventory management, or business analytics
- Preferred exposure to/experience with Open to Buy and forecasting
- Bachelor's degree from 4 year university
- Highly proficient in Excel, preferably intermediate to advanced skills
- Strong analytical and math skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail

Brand Partnerships Manager
We are seeking a Brand Partnerships Manager to join our Marketing team. You will continue the development of ABLE’s partnerships program, which is built on a long-term relationship strategy. You will oversee and establish objectives, priorities, plans, and processes related to the partnerships program. You will take ownership of existing ABLE partner relationships, as well as establish a strategy to network and foster new partners and ambassadors for our brand.

- Identify, build, and maintain new professional relationships with key talent and agency partners
- Expand our influencer marketing initiatives into new channels/platforms and new demographics
- Continue to refine the influencer selection and management process in support of long term relationships, seasonal contracts, and one-off campaigns
- Work cross-functionally across all teams to ensure strategies are cohesive and integrated across the business
- Track, analyze, and produce insightful reports surrounding influencer activity to prove ROI and advise on future optimizations and spend
- Monitor and maintain a strong understanding of activity from competitors, aspirational brands and influencer culture to gauge trends and insight into a constantly changing landscape

Product Development & Sourcing Coordinator
The Product Development and Sourcing Coordinator for Apparel, Footwear and Leather categories will closely collaborate with Design to ensure the completion of garments is executed from concept through production with the highest quality, on time deliverables and within cost parameters with overseas vendors. This position will utilize his or her problem-solving, multi-tasking and communication skills to help oversee the day to day development through to production which includes ensuring brands are on calendar. This is a permanent full time role for a candidate who truly understands the industry standard product development lifecycle as well as being a highly organized candidate who can thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Major Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Own product flow concept – TOP for multiple seasons at a time
- Communicate daily with manufacturers to ensure product specifications, quality standards and deadlines are met specific to the apparel, shoes and leather categories
- Responsible for creating vendor and company line sheets and making all appropriate changes throughout the season as well as distributing accordingly
- Attend fittings to ensure product is on calendar and within cost parameters, problem solving when needed
- Allocate product against oversea manufacturers for the best possible execution which includes maintaining proper vendor capacities as well as allocating to good/better/best cost matrix
- Assist in cost negotiations, FOB approvals and retail parameters according to company cost matrix to maintain target margins across categories
- Problem solve with issues when they do arise cross functionally
- Assist in material sourcing when needed and ensure all sourced materials are coming with a cost, MOQ and lead time to ensure materials are workable for the season.
- Act as liaison between Planning and Design to ensure fabric MOQs and price per yard are within targets and no liability is accrued
- Responsible for requesting all lab dips and strike offs for apparel as well as tracking lab dips and strike offs for on time approval
- Update and maintain development WIP reports across all categories and multiple seasons simultaneously as it relates to requests, tracking all samples from 1st proto to TOP’s, submits and approvals of all lab dips and strike offs as well as submits and approvals of mocks, wash submits, and trims to ensure vendor and corporate calendar deliverables are met through all development stages
- Responsible for ordering all salesman samples by issuing an SMS PO to all vendors across categories as well as tracking all SMS to ensure on time for all photoshoot deadlines and wholesale markets
- Work with planning team to create and assign skus for all products developed at Able
- Independently own calendar deadlines across all divisions
- Independently communicate and troubleshoot issues with vendors
- Responsible for creating reports requested by the Product Development Manager for vendors or cross functional reporting internally
- Be the main point of contact and communicator between all cross-functional departments: Planning, Merchandising, Design, Tech, Supply Chain and Marketing
- Support the Product Development Manager in evolving PD processes and leading workshops/training initiatives across cross functional departments
- Complete ad-hoc tasks and assignments as directed by management
- Creates and maintains development and production binders per season for each category
- Organize and maintain fabric and trim library for apparel and leather
- Responsible for keeping PLM 100% updated with sample stages as well as costing
- Assisting in new vendor sourcing, vetting and onboarding per the need of the business. Help to create a comfortable vendor rolodex for Able across all categories

ABLE Flagship Store Associate - Part Time
We are looking to add a Part-Time Associate in our Flagship store! As part of the ABLE team, you will support store leadership by helping to cultivate a store environment that consistently delivers the best in customer experience.
We are looking for candidates with retail experience, preferably at specialty retail locations or high end brands. We envision someone with a vibrant personality, an efficient nature, and natural warmth, someone who represents ABLE well and delights in sharing about our brand. Our ideal candidate will provide exceptional service in all aspects of the sales floor - greeting customers, selling, product knowledge, brand knowledge and storytelling, styling, cash wrap, restock and overall shopkeeping.
This position will begin with limited hours on weekends with the opportunity to increase hours over time. Retail holiday and weekend availability is required; weekday flexibility a plus. Position available immediately.
