We are publishing
our wages
Fashion has a dirty secret: the products we enjoy are most often made by women who can’t meet the basic needs of themselves or their children. And that is unacceptable. So we’ll be the first company that we know of to publish our wages, but what we really want is for everyone to join us.
That way, you’ll have the information you need to protect the people making your products.
We are hopeful, and we believe in
progress over perfection. We’re not perfect,
but we want to be perfectly transparent.
Our dream is that in 10 years or sooner, publishing wages will be as common as a nutritional facts label on your food.

Why are we publishing our wages?

To Protect and Empower Women
Most wages are oppressively low, but when a woman makes a living wage, her personal safety increases, and her children’s health, nutrition, and education increase as well. Investing in women is key to ending generational poverty as women reinvest twice as much of their income in their families compared to men (80% vs. 30-40%).

To Equip Consumers to Demand More
Fashion is among the largest employers of women globally and less than 2% are actually paid a living wage. Publishing wages protects women by giving consumers a clear choice. For 100% of workers to earn a living wage it may take time, but nothing changes corporate exploitation like consumer demand (that’s you).
