Our newest collaboration is a beautiful pairing of go-to ABLE pieces and Perryn Ryan’s inspiring illustrations of the female form. As a brand on a mission to empower women, we are proud to partner with an artist who explores themes of wellness and womanhood – and what that looks like for women of all shapes and sizes. This limited edition collection of pieces include Perryn’s original art on a graphic tee, headband, and a wallet she hand-painted in her home studio in Brooklyn, New York.
"I love to do projects that are in alignment with what I already create, so when ABLE reached out to me and I realized they help women who become artisans and earn their own income so that they are able to sustain themselves, I knew it was something I wanted to be apart of.
As I was working on this collection of pieces, I wanted to create designs that encapsulated this idea of women blooming and growing together, and also being able to bloom by themselves. ABLE gives women the source materials to be able to grow and sustain themselves, which is also what plants do. So I created art that incorporates floral buds and leaves that represent blooming where you are and also growing past where you are to the next level. This has been the constant theme of my life, and maybe it's been the same for you.
I'm proud to create something that you would want to wear and show to the world, but it also brings me joy to be part of something that will be a conversation piece and a point of connection for you.
