How To Care

Nicasia Leather
  • High Classification Full Grain Hide
  • The process begins with Chrome Tanning, then moves to Vegetable Tanning for the remainder of the process.
  • Brazil's version of Pull Up Leather that shows character and a slight patina over time
  • Slightly thicker and stiffer leather
  • The skins are polished so that the wax penetrates uniformly for the proper color standardization
  • Tanning process is made with leathers that pass the high quality standard. This includes, but not limited to, traceability of materials, regulation of chemicals used, and consideration of environmental impact

Lux Full Grain Leather
  • High Classification Soft Full Grain Hide
  • Vegetable and Chrome Tanned Leather (Horween Chromexcel
  • Tanning process includes a more detailed chrome and oil process opposed to normal leathers. This combined with a  slight vegetal and tumbling finishing produce skins that keeps a nice & soft hand feel
  • This leather has a slightly slouchier appearance and does not scratch as easily or over time show as much character as our Pull Up and Nicasia Leathers. 
  • The skins are polished so that the wax penetrates uniformly for the proper color standardization.
  • Tanning process is made with leathers that pass the high quality standard. This includes, but not limited to, traceability of materials, regulation of chemicals used, and consideration of environmental impact

Repurposed Leather
  • Repurposed leather from the scraps of larger styles such as handbags, totes, or backpacks to be repurposed and salvaged from what would otherwise be destined for landfills.
  • These pieces are normally used with Pull Up Leather or leathers of similar quality. 
  • These leathers do not go through an additional tanning process as they are scrap leather pieces to be repurposed as a new material - saving water and resources.

Direct sunlight and excessive heat can cause leather to fade and become damaged over time.

CONDITION TO CARE

Our leather conditioner replenishes and restores our classic vegetable tanned Pull-Up leather to keep your bags looking their very best. We suggest to condition your bag once every 6 months or as needed.
