But let's back up a little bit more... the reason this scarf came into existence is through our relationship with our friends at ONE. ONE Moms took a trip to Ethiopia exactly 3 years ago this month, and visited the FASHIONABLE facilities with a bunch of great bloggers. A few months later, one of the ONE Moms, Gabrielle Blair of DesignMom, helped facilitate a collaboration between ONE & FASHIONABLE by hosting a contest at her design conference Alt Summit. Over 60 designers submitted their designs, 12 designs were produced by FASHIONABLE in Ethiopia, and 4 scarves were voted on. The winning scarf was the Genet, named after one of the women we partner with.
We have offered the Genet scarf as an limited exclusive a few times, but you keep asking for more -- so we've brought it back as a part of our Fall 2015 Collection.
