Independence Day is a week away.  Celebrating the stars and stripes with barbecue and beer has become one of the most beloved days of the summer.  But if you're anything like us, you often forget why we so proudly promote the red, white, & blue...

The preamble of the Declaration of Independence states  "We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness."   We are fortunate to live in a country that affords us freedom and opportunity.  But so many around the world do not have the same rights or privileges.
