Jordan is a recent graduate of Belmont University and directs fashionABLE's Retail Operations. She recently got back from visiting our headquarters in Ethiopia.
After working with fashionABLE for 2 years, I had the opportunity to go to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia a few weeks ago. While I was there, I got to spend time with the girls who work for fashionABLE, as well as work on new product development (we've got some fun stuff on the way!!). I could talk about my time there for days and days, so I had to work extra hard to narrow it down… Here are my top 5 favorite moments of the trip: 1. We arrived to the cheering and clapping of all of the women & men who work for us at fashionABLE… It was sweet, overwhelming, and absolutely surreal to finally be able to meet everyone face to face.
2. I spent an afternoon helping the girls dye the thread for the spring samples… And got made fun of when I didn't do it right!! They've got that process down so perfectly!
3. My girl Mulu is absolutely amazing… She's such a strong woman, and so good at her job. She's kind of a legend around our Nashville offices.
5. One of my favorite moments was sitting with Genet and laughing with her as she taught me how to spin the thread for the fashionABLE scarves. She and the rest of the girls are so full of joy, and so proud of their jobs.
